許多從事氫氣醫(yī)學(xué)研究的學(xué)者,一般和麻美教授有類似經(jīng)歷,從開始懷疑到逐漸認(rèn)可,最后到癡迷。野田麻美教授是非常嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)乃幚韺W(xué)家,她很早就知道堿性離子水,也一直對這個概念表示懷疑,當(dāng)有同事告訴她有人喝了這種水病情好轉(zhuǎn),才讓她對這種水產(chǎn)生了興趣并深入研究,這一轉(zhuǎn)變使她成為氫氣醫(yī)學(xué)研究的少數(shù)先鋒人物。
我在2010年參加日本氫氣醫(yī)學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)會議期間有幸遇到她,記得太田教授稱贊她是漂亮夫人,我們當(dāng)時進行了關(guān)于氫氣改善帕金森病方面的深入交流,可惜此后一直沒有機會再見面。
野田麻美教授主要研究氫水對帕金森病改善機制,她的小組提出,氫水可以在非常低(1/20的飽和度)的濃度時發(fā)揮作用,飲氫水所以能產(chǎn)生對腦的保護作用,主要是氫氣能刺激胃細胞釋放饑餓素,饑餓素具有神經(jīng)保護作用,認(rèn)為這一分子是氫氣改善疾病的物質(zhì)基礎(chǔ)。這是氫氣醫(yī)學(xué)領(lǐng)域非常值得重視的一種觀點和解釋。根據(jù)野田麻美的說法,雖然她不是最早發(fā)表氫氣醫(yī)學(xué)論文的小組,但早在2007年前,她就開展了氫氣醫(yī)學(xué)效應(yīng)的研究,屬于最早涉足氫氣醫(yī)學(xué)研究的先鋒人物。
野田麻美關(guān)于氫氣醫(yī)學(xué)研究的自述:
是什么觸動了科學(xué)家敏感懷疑的心?
“我從事藥理學(xué)研究超過30年。在洛克菲勒大學(xué)作博士后工作結(jié)束后,我繼續(xù)在九州大學(xué)工作,九州大學(xué)從1997年開始就有學(xué)者研究堿性離子水。雖然在市場上有許多錯誤的信息,這種堿性離子水在日本已經(jīng)非常流行,我對這個概念一直非常懷疑。但是2005年,一個同事給我分享了一個帕金森病患者喝過這種水的一些有趣的數(shù)據(jù),這件事促使我開始關(guān)注這種水的效應(yīng)。”
她是如何發(fā)現(xiàn)氫氣是作業(yè)本質(zhì)的?
“我們知道,氫氣可以在堿性離子水電解制造過程中產(chǎn)生,但是我們不認(rèn)為氫氣具有任何生物學(xué)效應(yīng),尤其是氫氣在水中的溶解度非常低(飽和度只有0.8mM)。但是對這種水的各種成分進行分析后發(fā)現(xiàn),礦物質(zhì)、pH都不產(chǎn)生這種效應(yīng),只有氫氣可以表現(xiàn)出這樣的效應(yīng)。2007年,太田成男教授課題組在《自然醫(yī)學(xué)》發(fā)表了關(guān)于氫氣具有選擇性抗氧化的學(xué)術(shù)論文,讓我們更加相信這個判斷。2009年我們發(fā)表了氫氣對MPTP誘導(dǎo)小鼠帕金森病模型的改善作用的論文。”
從現(xiàn)象到機制,乘勝追擊也是科學(xué)研究的基本邏輯。
“隨后我們發(fā)現(xiàn),氫水產(chǎn)生保護帕金森病作用是誘導(dǎo)胃腸道分泌饑餓素發(fā)揮作用,饑餓素分泌則具有ß1受體依賴特征。就是說氫氣刺激ß1受體引起饑餓素分泌,從而發(fā)揮了改善作用。”

“氫氣對帕金森病的作用已經(jīng)有了臨床研究的確定證據(jù)。因為氫氣具有高度安全性,使用非常簡便,具有明顯的醫(yī)學(xué)效應(yīng),作為一個藥理學(xué)家,我認(rèn)為自己有義務(wù)繼續(xù)研究氫氣的醫(yī)學(xué)作用和機制。”
